Michael Gallup Out Up To Five Weeks
3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (calf) will be sidelined for three to five weeks after he was injured in the season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. Gallup exited the game early after catching four passes for 36 yards on seven targets. Until he returns to the lineup, wide receivers Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb get a boost in value and can both be considered WR1s as they will continue to have a massive target share. Cooper was targeted 16 times to Lamb's 15 in Week 1, so they will likely continue to demand double-digit targets on a weekly basis. Upon Gallup's return to action, he will remain a WR4 option as he is third in line for targets in the Dallas offense.
