Michael Gallup Ruled Out For Week 2
2 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) won't play in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. "There is still a process of return to play that he has to finish," McCarthy said. Gallup tore his ACL in January, although he's been making excellent progress of late. The 26-year-old made some notable strides in practice this week, but the Cowboys just aren't ready to give him the green light. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to make his debut in Week 3 against the New York Giants. With Gallup out last week, Noah Brown stepped up as the clear No. 2 behind CeeDee Lamb, catching five of nine targets for 68 yards on 88 percent of the offensive snaps.
