Michael Gallup Working From The Slot In Practice

3 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup has been working from the slot more than usual in training camp, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. Gallup ran on the outside on 93% of his routes last season, but he's showing much more versatility this summer and could allow the Cowboys to use several of their wide receivers interchangeably. CeeDee Lamb, who has been the standout at camp according to almost all beat reporters, will also get some run from the slot. Amari Cooper (ankle) is dealing with an injury and may end up moving things around once he returns, but with the Cowboys offense expected to take strides this season, Gallup could be a solid deeper league option and is always an excellent choice in best-ball formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
