4 years agoThough he was in the whole contest in a closely contested battle, Michael Johnson (19-16) was unable to secure the win over fellow veteran Clay Guida on Saturday, dropping a unanimous decision. With the loss, Johnson has now lost four fights in a row and seven of his last nine outings. Don't let the record fool you, though, as Johnson has faced and lost to many of the division's very best. In this contest, Johnson was only able to land 58 significant strikes (70 total strikes) and was taken down three times at crucial parts of the contest.
