4 years agoNew York Yankees pitcher Michael King has reportedly spent the offseason working to add a third pitch to his arsenal. King struggled in 26.2 innings last season with a 7.76 ERA and 5.14 FIP, but he'll compete for a job in the starting rotation during spring training. It's not exactly clear what King considers to be his established second pitch as he used his changeup and slider similarly last season, but it's encouraging to see the 25-year-old tweak his arsenal. Fantasy managers should still expect King to start the season on the outside of the Yankees' starting rotation but keep an eye on him and his adjusted pitch mix during spring training.--Sam Chinitz
