King lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with three walks surrendered. He fanned three batters. King labored through a 24-pitch first inning, then followed it up with a quick, 14-pitch second, highlighting the efficiency troubles he endured Thursday. King still owns a solid 3.77 ERA in 31 innings pitched and figures to remain in the rotation at least until Luis Severino (elbow) returns.--Tim Capurso
