Michael King Will Undergo Surgery To Repair Elbow
2 years agoNew York Yankees reliever Michael King (elbow) will need surgery to repair his fractured elbow, according to manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees skipper added that King should be ready for spring training next year if the injury doesn't also require Tommy John surgery. The 27-year-old setup man was excellent prior to his injury, putting up a 2.29 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 66:16 K/BB ratio to go along with 16 holds and one save over 51 innings.
