2 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels placed right-hander Michael Lorenzen (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list on Thursday with a right shoulder strain and recalled right-hander Jose Marte from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. Lorenzen's injured list stint is retroactive to July 4. The 30-year-old has struggled recently, and it's possible that he's been pitching at less than 100 percent. He's gone 6-6 with a 4.94 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP while striking out 55 and walking 30 in 71 innings over 13 starts. Fantasy managers in shallow mixed leagues shouldn't feel the need to hang onto him, especially if he's expected to miss more than the minimum time on the injured list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
