Michael Lorenzen Throws Simulated Game On Tuesday
2 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Michael Lorenzen (shoulder) threw 45 pitches during Tuesday's simulated game. He "felt great" and will report to Triple-A Salt Lake to begin a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old is expected to make two rehab starts before rejoining the Angels rotation. He is eligible to be activated from the 60-day injured list in early September. The Angels right-hander owns a 6-6 record with a 4.94 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and a 55:30K: BB across 71 innings in 2022. Lorenzen is mainly a stash in deep-league formats with IL spots.
