4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Michael Lorenzen plans to continue to work out, despite MLB shutting down Spring Training earlier in the week thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. While the Reds closed down their spring facility on Friday for cleaning, Lorenzen told reporters that he will treat the break as "an extended offseason." The right-hander has been known for his intense training regimens since his MLB debut back in 2015. Lorenzen had been dealing with patellar tendinitis in his left knee a few days ago, so he can now use the break to strengthen his knee.--Matt T - RotoBaller
