3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Michael Pineda picked up his seventh win of the season Friday against the Blue Jays. Pineda pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing three runs, one earned, on three hits while walking a pair. The right-hander only struck out two batters but managed to generate nine whiffs, six of them on his heater. Pineda has been an up-and-down fantasy asset this season, though he is having an excellent September, pitching to a 3-0 record with a 1.32 ERA in 13 2/3 innings. He'll be tough to trust in a rematch with the Blue Jays his next time out, even with such success.--Tim Capurso
