Michael Pineda Strikes Out 10 in No-Decision
5 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Michael Pineda was dominant in a 6-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Friday. Pineda allowed just one run over six innings while striking out 10 in the 11-inning loss. His only mistake was a third-inning homer off Francisco Lindor's bat. Pineda has been getting stronger as the season goes on, having posted four wins, a 3.41 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 37 strikeouts over his past 29 innings of work. The veteran right-hander has turned into a must-own in all formats. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, which comes against the Washington Nationals.
