4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Michael Pineda (thigh) is recovering from a thigh procedure and is slated to resume throwing on Thursday, per Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com. Pineda was scratched from his start on Tuesday against the White Sox due to an undisclosed- at the time- reason, though it seems like a relatively minor setback, one that manager Rocco Baldelli termed more "inconvenience" than injury. The Twins will evaluate Pineda on Thursday to see where he's at and determine when his next start will be.--Tim Capurso
