Michael Pittman Jr. Leads Colts With 71 Receiving Yards
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught all five of his targets for 71 yards during a 23-17 Week 10 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Pittman was efficient on a modest target share, as Wentz only distributed five targets to the second-year wideout on Sunday. Pittman has good chemistry with Wentz and should remain a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 moving forward, although the Colts' offense tends to be more conservative than most others in the league. However, he is the team's WR1, and T.Y. Hilton's return does little to impact his opportunity. Jonathan Taylor led the team with eight targets against the Jaguars, showing how the defense pressured Wentz and forced him to check down. Pittman gets a difficult matchup against the Bills on the road in Week 11.
