4 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) would face the Chargers if he takes the field for the first time since Week 1. Thomas has gotten in two limited practice sessions after being limited all of last week, so he appears to be following the same practice routine, which ultimately led to him sitting out Week 4. With a Week 6 bye right around the corner, it would make sense for New Orleans to rest their star wideout and then have him at near full strength for the stretch run. If he does play, he'll be a low-end WR1 against a beatable Chargers' secondary.--Tim Capurso
