Michael Thomas Catches Seven Passes In Playoff Loss
5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas caught seven of eight targets for 70 yards in a 26-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Though he didn't play badly, the playoff loss is a disappointing end to a historic season for Thomas. The All-Pro set the NFL record for receptions with 149, posted the seventh-most receiving yards in a single season in NFL history, and matched his career-high with nine receiving touchdowns. It's scary to think that Thomas is still only four years into his career- there's room for him to get even better. His dominant 2019 should leave no doubt that he should be the first receiver taken in all draft formats, especially PPR.
