4 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) has been placed on injured reserve due to an ankle ailment, and therefore will miss the remainder of the 2020 regular season. Thomas' season has been riddled by myriad injuries, with his latest development forcing his year to end with just seven regular-season appearances. Fortunately, New Orleans' playoff positioning should give Thomas the opportunity to return for the postseason, in which he'll be a highly sought after DFS commodity. In Thomas' absence, look for Emmanuel Sanders and Tre'Quan Smith to see a considerable increase in targets, especially with Drew Brees (ribs) back in the mix. Thomas ends the season with 40 receptions for 438 yards with zero touchdowns, which should slice into his fantasy value entering '21.--Jesse Borek
