5 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas caught 12 of a season-high 17 targets for 136 yards and a touchdown in a 38-28 win over the Tennessee Titans. Thomas broke the NFL's single-season receptions record held by Marvin Harrison, as he caught his 144th pass of the season late in the fourth quarter. The All-Pro receiver then caught number 145, a two-yard touchdown, to seal the win for the Saints. Thomas' 1,688 receiving yards are currently the 10th-most for a single-season in NFL history with one game left. Up next for Thomas is a Week 17 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, who he burnt for 101 yards and a touchdown back in Week 12.--Tim Capurso
