3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Michael Wacha is expected to start Friday's game against the Mariners if he isn't needed out of the bullpen before then. He will be joining the rotation after ace Tyler Glasnow was diagnosed with a partial UCL tear and flexor strain on Tuesday. Wacha has been used out of the bullpen since returning from a hamstring injury in late May. The 29-year-old owns a 4.54 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and a 30:11 K: BB across 39.2 innings in 2021. Wacha can be used as a streamer with a favorable matchup against the Mariners and is a speculative add in deep-league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
