Michael Wacha Has a "Moderate" Oblique Strain
7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha underwent an MRI and it showed a "moderate" oblique strain. The team expects to be without Wacha for at least a couple of weeks. He was in so much pain as he left his previous start, he reportedly was having trouble breathing without feeling excruciating pain. The Cardinals are looking to John Gant, Daniel Poncedeleon, or Dakota Hudson to take Wacha's rotation spot.
