6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Michael Wacha is 'in heavy pencil' to start Monday against the Marlins, according to Cardinals manager Mike Shildt. The 27-year-old has struggled in nine starts, posting an ugly 6.30 ERA and 1.78 WHIP through 50 innings. Wacha was moved to the bullpen after a rough outing against the Royals on May 22 and should be avoided in mixed leagues for the time being. Ryan Helsley and Daniel Ponce de Leon are also options for Monday if Wacha is used in a relief role.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
