3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Michael Wacha allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out six across 4 1/3 inning during Saturday's 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He did not factor into the decision but had his best start in August by limiting the Orioles to one just earned run. The 30-year-old was removed from the game after 83 pitches and hasn't registered a win since July 12. Wacha owns a 5.70 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, and an 8.5 K/9 over 94 2/3 innings in 2021. The former St. Louis Cardinal can be used as a streamer in deep-league formats in the next scheduled start on Friday at home against the Minnesota Twins.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
