6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha struggled with his command on Saturday against the San Diego Padres. While Wacha did strike out seven batters, he had eight walks. He managed to stay out of trouble by only giving up three hits, and he had a lead when he was pulled after allowing just one run in 5 2/3 innings. Wacha had a high pitch count in this game, but it shouldn't be cause for concern in his next matchup.--Blake Sullivan
