7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha was excellent on Sunday, taking a no-hitter into the ninth inning. He ended up pitching eight innings, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out eight. Wacha had everything working on Sunday, showing an excellent changeup and hitting 97 mph with his fastball. Wacha moved his record to 7-1 and dropped his ERA to 2.41. He's looking like an ace this season, and most of his success seems sustainable.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
