7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Michael Wacha (oblique) had what manager Mike Shildt called "a bit of a mild setback" when he left his rehab start this week with fatigue. Wacha will resume playing catch on Friday, throw a bullpen session and then possibly resume his rehab assignment next week. Wacha was a must-own in fantasy leagues with an 8-2 record, 3.20 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 over 15 starts. However, he's been out since June 20 and is looking iffy to return to the Cardinals rotation this year. Perhaps they play it safe with him and hope he can contribute if the team makes the playoffs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
