4 years agoNew York Mets right-handed pitcher Michael Wacha has been activated off of the injured list prior to Thursday’s contest against Miami and will start, so long as the game actually takes place. As boycotts have spread throughout the sports world over the past two days in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting, many teams have decided not to participate; the Mets and Marlins were reportedly mulling that choice earlier Thursday. The combination of not having started since Aug. 7 due to inflammation in his pitching shoulder, along with the fact that Wacha has amassed a 6.43 ERA in his first three starts this year, means that owners can likely look elsewhere for fantasy production.--Jesse Borek
