4 years agoUnable to capitalize on her solid showing the last time out, Michelle Waterson (18-9) went the distance with rising strawweight star Marina Rodriguez but was unable to get the decision victory on Saturday. Statistically, Waterson had 88 significant strikes (100 total strikes) but only landed one of her four takedown tries. The Karate Hottie showed she can still hang in there with the young up-and-comers in Saturday's main event. It's more than likely Waterson will get a strawweight in the bottom half of the top 15 her next time out, which should prove as a nice rebound opportunity for Waterson.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
