4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfield prospect Mickey Moniak is being called up to the team, according to Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia. Moniak was the first overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft but has scuffled throughout various levels of minor-league ball over the following seasons. He slashed .252/.303/.439 with 67 RBI at Double-A Reading in 2019 and projects to fill in as the Phillies' fourth or fifth outfielder for the final few weeks of the season.
