2 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mickey Moniak (finger) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Monday. Moniak fractured his left middle finger during Saturday's game and was not in the lineup on Sunday. The Angels recently acquired Moniak at the trade deadline in the deal which sent Noah Syndergaard to the Philadelphia Phillies. Moniak is expected back before the end of the season, according to manager Phil Nevin, who stated, "I think we got the best news possible when you hear about a fracture." The 24-year-old is hitting .167 with two homers, eight runs, and five RBI in 60 at-bats in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
