3 years agoIt was almost five years in the making, but Miesha Tate (19-7) made a strong statement in her return from retirement, finishing Marion Reneau by third-round TKO on Saturday. Statistically, it was a solid showing coming off a long layoff, as she landed 65 significant strikes (110 total strikes) and landed three of her six takedown attempts on the night. She was facing a 44-year-old Reneau in her retirement fight, which made it five losses in a row. How will Tate perform against younger, tougher competition?
