Miguel Andujar Picks Up Two Hits
4 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman and outfielder Miguel Andujar picked up his first multi-hit game since 2018 with a 2-for-3 performance in the second leg of Wednesday’s doubleheader. Andujar was dialed in on Wednesday, making hard contact in all three of his at-bats while avoiding any whiffs. Andujar has a chance to claim at least semi-consistent playing time with outfielder Aaron Judge (calf) likely headed to the injured list, and he’s worth rostering in fantasy leagues if he sees regular playing time. Andujar has struggled so far this season with a .352 OPS over his first 10 games while being shuttled between the Yankees and the team’s alternate site, but he posted a .855 OPS in his last full season and should be a productive hitter again this year as long as he plays.
