4 years agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Miguel Andujar was sent down to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Sunday's game. Andujar appeared in three games for the Yankees, going 0-for-9 with a strikeout. With Luke Voit (knee) expected to return for Tuesday's series opener against the Rays, this looks like a corresponding roster move with the former's activation off the injured list. As for Andujar, the Yankees seem to like his bat and want him to be a versatile fielder, so it may not be the last time he's up with the big club in 2021.--Tim Capurso
