Miguel Andujar Sitting In Game 1 Thursday
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Miguel Andujar is not in the starting lineup for Game 1 of the doubleheader against the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday. Andujar will take a seat after starting each of the team's last seven games in left field. The 27-year-old Dominican doesn't have any homers to speak of this year, but he's been solid for the Yankees in his 32 at-bats, going 9-for-32 (.281) with two RBI, two runs and two stolen bases in nine games played. If he continues to play well, he should continue to play regularly in the Yankees lineup, at least until Giancarlo Stanton (ankle) returns from the injured list. Aaron Hicks is playing left field in Game 1 and is hitting seventh against Angels right-hander Shohei Ohtani.
