Miguel Rojas Dealing With Calf Tightness
3 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas (calf) was removed from Saturday's game against the Atlanta Braves with left calf tightness. He exited the game early in the top of the seventh inning and was replaced by Erik Gonzalez. The 33-year-old went 0-for-2 before leaving. He has played through a calf issue since May 11th and is day-to-day. Rojas is slashing .205/.250/.308 with two home runs, seven RBI, 12 runs scored, and a stolen base over 34 games in 2022. Gonzalez would see an uptick in playing time while Rojas is sidelined. The 30-year-old isn't on the fantasy radar after slashing .182/.280/.462 over 26 plate appearances this season.
