3 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas (illness) is expected to be back in the lineup on Wednesday as the team continues its series against the Philadelphia Phillies. The Marlins said Rojas is day-to-day with a non-COVID-19-related illness similar to a cold that teammate Sandy Alcantara suffered from last weekend, but he should be fine by game time on Wednesday. This is positive news for Miami, given that Rojas is hitting .256/.328/.406 on the season. Luis Marte took Rojas' place at shortstop and hit eighth for Miami against right-handed pitcher Vince Velasquez on Tuesday.--Chelena Goldman
