7 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Miguel Rojas had his first career multi-home run performance on Sunday afternoon, finishing 3-for-3 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored in the loss to the Braves. Sunday's performance brings Rojas to seven home runs on the year — or three more than he hit in his previous four seasons combined. While his current 15.9 percent HR/FB rate suggests a regression back to his previous career average of 2.5 percent, this could actually be the makings of a breakout season for Rojas. Looking at his Statcast numbers, he is posting a career-best 9.3 degree launch angle while posting his highest exit velocity (85.6 mph) and hard-hit percentage (27.5 percent) since his first season in Miami in 2015. Owners looking for middle infield help in 12-team mixed leagues or in NL-only leagues might want to consider acquiring Rojas going forward.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
