3 years agoMinnesota Twins first/third baseman Miguel Sano went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Saturday's loss to the Astros. Sano has been struggling at the dish, as he's batting just .160 with an RBI and a 9:2 strikeout-to-walk ratio in six August games. It's not surprising to see the veteran slugger struggling to put up solid numbers when looking at the underlying statistics, as his barrel rate, hard-hit rate, and average exit velocity have all dipped since August 1, while his groundball rate has risen to a whopping 56.3 percent. Sano has moments where he can catch fire, but such moments have been too fleeting this season to count on him in the most meaningful stretch of the fantasy baseball season.--Tim Capurso
