Miguel Sano Crushes First Home Run Of Spring
5 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano had a strong performance in a win over the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday. Sano singled and scored a run in the second inning, then crushed a 2-0 pitch in the seventh inning deep to right-centerfield for his first home run of the spring. In 2019, the 26-year-old hit 34 home runs with a .923 OPS despite missing 57 games. Sano's upside is immense, though the injury risk is real and has bitten fantasy owners in the past. If you can get Sano around his current ADP of 139, pull the trigger- but be sure to have a backup plan just in case he does get injured.
