7 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano (leg), who was limping noticeably on Wednesday after injuring himself on a slide on Tuesday, is hoping to hit on the field as soon as Friday. Sano was carted off the field on Tuesday but was diagnosed with a bone bruise in his surgically repaired left leg. It's unclear when Sano might return to the lineup, but it's clear his injury isn't season-ending. He's been a disappointment to fantasy owners in 2018, hitting just .202 with 13 home runs and a .285 on-base percentage. He is 4-for-46 (.087) with 19 strikeouts in his last 55 plate appearances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
