6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Miguel Sano will be batting third in the order on Monday night for High-A Fort Myers. Sano has had a dismal 2018 season so far and was looking lost at the plate. He was carrying a .203 average through 37 games with seven home runs. The Twins felt Sano needed to be away from the big league team and get back to basics. While the length of the rehab stint is unknown at this point, it seems likely that Sano will be down there for a decent amount of time. Monitor his production in the minors because he could be a valuable fantasy piece down the stretch if he can reset his offensive problems; however, if he continues to struggle at High-A he will become droppable for those few managers that are still holding on.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
