7 years agoTwins' slugger Miguel Sano (hamstring) was fielding grounders at third base before Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Sano has missed the past 11 games, but the fact that he traveled with the team to L.A was an encouraging sign. Sano is a fantastic power number producer and that bat has been dearly missed by fantasy owners. Luckily, this progression makes it seem likely that we will see Sano activated off of the disabled list sooner than expected. Twins manager Paul Molitor said Sano will not return this weekend, but an activation next week is not out of the question. With that in mind, Eduardo Escobar will continue to take the reps at third base.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
