2 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano (knee) will begin taking batting practice at some point next week. He has been sidelined since early May due to a torn meniscus in his left knee. The right-handed slugger underwent surgery and continues to work his way back to the field. Sano has been doing running drills and started hitting drills as well. However, next week will be the first time he has taken batting practice since his injury. There is no timetable for Sano, but the hope is that he can return at some point in July.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
