Miguel Vargas Has Strong Debut
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Miguel Vargas made his debut in the big leagues on Wednesday night, slotting in as the designated hitter in the seventh spot in the lineup. He had a strong game, going 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and a stolen base. It remains to be seen how much playing time Vargas will receive going forward, but his .291/.382/.497 slash line with 15 homers and 12 steals at Triple-A this season suggests that he has the ability to make an all-around contribution at some point, and fantasy managers in keeper and dynasty formats should look to add him off the waiver wire.
