Miguel Vargas Hits Another Home Run In Triple-A
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infield prospect Miguel Vargas continued his impressive season for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Vargas went 2-for-4 with a walk and solo home run. The 22-year-old has had an impressive campaign and is now hitting a healthy .282 with 11 home runs, 48 RBI and eight stolen bases over 259 at-bats. Vargas has played all over the infield, but his biggest issue is that the Dodgers have plenty of depth at the big-league level that is blocking the talented youngster. Vargas still has a chance to get a promotion at some point this year, but will likely need an injury to see significant playing time. Vargas would be worth adding in redraft leagues if he got promoted, but his best value is in dynasty leagues at the moment.
