Miguel Vargas Looks To Continue Success In Second Half
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infield/outfield prospect Miguel Vargas had a great first half for Triple-A Oklahoma City and will look to continue that success in the second half of the season. On the season, Vargas has hit .295 with 13 homers, 64 RBI and 21 doubles. Opening the season as an infielder, Vargas' success at the plate has led to him learning the outfield recently for Oklahoma City. With the Dodgers big-league squad stacked, Vargas learning a new position helps with his versatility and possible arrival if an injury were to occur at any position for the Dodgers. Vargas would likely be in the big leagues on another franchise, but for now, he remains an upside stash in redraft leagues and should be rostered in dynasty leagues. If promoted, Vargas should be rostered in all formats.
