2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman/outfielder Miguel Vargas was pulled from Triple-A Oklahoma City's game on Tuesday night after he drew a second-inning walk. He is heading to New York to join the Dodgers' taxi squad, according to sources. The plan is for Vargas to be activated once rosters expand on Thursday, Sept. 1. The 22-year-old Cuban made his major league debut earlier this month and went 2-for-8 with no homers, two RBI, no runs and a stolen base in two games played for the Blue. He's the team's No. 3 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and he's hit .304/.404/.511 with a .915 OPS, 17 home runs, 82 RBI, 100 runs scored and 16 stolen bases in 113 games for Oklahoma City in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
