Miguel Vargas Won't Slow Down In Triple-A
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infield/outfield prospect Miguel Vargas continues to swing a hot bat for Triple-A Oklahoma City. On Wednesday, Vargas went 1-for-5 with his 14th longball of the season. Vargas has been the talk of town in regards to minor league players this year and is now hitting .293 with 14 homers and 68 RBI. Despite his impressive season, the Dodgers big-league squad is too talented at the moment and Vargas is unlikely to make an impact without an injury. With less than a week to go until the trade deadline, if Vargas were to be dealt, his value in redraft leagues would improve greatly. For now, he is worth monitoring in redraft leagues and should be rostered in dynasty leagues.
