6 years agoNew York Rangers center Mika Zibanejad picked up two even-strength assists during a 4-3 shootout loss against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday. Zibanejad has six points in his last four games. The Swedish pivot has produced eight goals and 17 assists through 28 games this season. He is centering the top line alongside Jimmy Vesey and Jesper Fast while seeing time on the top power-play unit. Zibanejad has shown flashes of breaking out in the past, but injuries tend to derail his momentum. If he can stay healthy, there is no reason why he cannot crack the 60-point plateau for the first time in his career.
