3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Mike Boone (quadriceps) will miss four-to-six weeks following an MRI on Friday. Boone will not require surgery, signaling that the injury could have been much worse. This is a tough blow to him as he was having an impressive training camp. He wasn't going to have a massive role, but reports out of camp suggested that the Broncos planned on using three running backs during the regular season. Boone isn't on the fantasy radar, but this means that the value of Melvin Gordon and rookie Javonte Williams increases. Gordon has low-end RB2/flex upside, as he reportedly is still the clear lead back in Denver. Williams figures to take on an increased workload as the season goes on, so he could make for a solid RB3 in fantasy.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
