2 years agoThe San Diego Padres activated starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (triceps) from the injured list on Sunday, and he will start against the Milwaukee Brewers. Outfielder Brent Rooker was optioned to the minors to make room for Clevinger on the active roster. Fantasy managers will be hoping the Clevinger can build on his last outing on May 17 before he landed on the injured list, when he struck out five and allowed only one hit in five scoreless innings against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 31-year-old right-hander has allowed only five earned runs and 11 hits while striking out 15 and walking five in 14 innings over his three starts in 2022, but he'll be a risk/reward fantasy starter in his return from injury against a tough Brewers team.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
